About Joe

It all begins in 1975 when I got KISS Alive! I thought to myself, "I want to do that!" So I began the quest for guitar at age 12. That is when I got my first guitar, a les paul copy. It was love at first sight. Now we need to start a band. All through high school and the military I have always been in bands of one form or another. The 70's and 80's music is what influenced me. From Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, Hall and Oats, KISS, Stryper, Poison, Ratt, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Dokken, Queensryche, Ozzy and Dio. The list is much longer but you get the idea. Anything that has killer guitar is what I love.  I also love alot of good ole country music. Remember HEE HAW? Roy Clark and Buck  Owens? All the way from Willie, Cash to Urban, Paisley to Tommy Emmanuel. And how can you not like the Blues? Vaughan, Clapton, Buddy and BB King. Bottom line? Joe loves music and all kinds.Thats where Cupajoe comes in. It is an idea  I had to make music (of all kinds) with as many God-gifted musicians as possible and to get all the music out of my head. To  have fun writing music with family and friends, to give everyone positive music and to share Gods blessings with all of you. I have scheduled to start recording in late September and plan on having the cd ready for Christmas 2016.
